Rays reliever Matt Wisler served as the opener for Monday's game against the Red Sox, tossing a perfect first inning. He struck out once batter but didn't factor into the final decision. Tampa Bay ultimately defeated Boston by a score of 10-5.
Fantasy Impact:
Wisler is now 2-3 with a 2.52 ERA, 1.07 WHIP, and .197 OBA through 36 games (five starts) in 2022. He has also posted 7.32 K/9 and 3.20 BB/9. The right-hander has now strung together 4 1/3 consecutive scoreless innings, though he's still not worth rostering in fantasy leagues.
