The Mariners placed Ken Giles on the injured list Saturday with tightness behind his throwing shoulder. (Shannon Drayer on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Giles threw six pitches in relief Friday night before he was removed from the game. The veteran righty has missed most of the last few seasons to injury so the bad luck continues for him unfortunately. He had looked sharp in his four appearances entering Friday.
