Chris Sale allows one earned run in Wednesday rehab start

Chris Sale pitched 3 2/3 innings, allowing three hits, one earned run, five walks, and registered five strikeouts Wednesday. Sale threw 72 pitches and struggled with control of his fastball but showed solid feel for his slider and changeup. (Ian Cundall on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Sale was clearly not happy with how his rehab start went based on his reaction after being pulled. It is likely that he will make at least one more rehab start as the Red Sox continue to hope he can return to form. Look for an update from the Sox soon on what Sale’s next move is.
