Hansel Robles blows another save against Toronto
by Andersen Pickard | Wed, Jun 29th 8:56am EDT
Red Sox reliever Hansel Robles allowed two hits and two unearned runs while failing to record an out during the ninth inning of Tuesday's game against the Blue Jays. Robles entered the ninth with two runners on base, inheriting them from Tyler Danish. When the tying and winning runs scored, Danish was hit with the loss was Robles logged the blown save. Boston ultimately fell to Toronto by a score of 6-5.
Fantasy Impact:
Robles is 1-2 with a 4.70 ERA, 1.35 WHIP, and .247 OBA through 23 innings this season. He has seven holds but is horrendous in the late innings, going just 2-for-7 during save situations this season. It's perplexing to think about why he was used during the ninth inning of such an important game on Tueusday.
