Tony Santillan went on the IL Friday due to an injury to his back. The move was retroactive to Tuesday. (Reds on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
It’s unclear how long Santillan will be out, but if you are one of the few fantasy managers who has him rostered, you can probably move on. The Reds have been going with a committee approach at closer most of the season and Santillan hasn’t pitched well this year. He hits the IL with an ERA of 5.49 and a very high WHIP of 1.78.
