Freddy Peralta has begun a throwing program. He was placed on the 15-day IL on May 23rd with a strained right lat and is expected to miss a significant amount of time. (Curt Hogg on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Peralta recently moved to the 60-day IL, although that was more of a paper move to clear a 40-man roster spot and will not impact his timeline. It is a positive sign that this early into his lat injury that he has already begun throwing. Fantasy managers that moved Peralta to IL will be happy to hopefully have him back for the fantasy playoffs.
