Nick Lodolo to begin rehab assignment on Monday

Nick Lodolo is scheduled to make his first rehab appearance for the ACL Reds on Monday after successfully throwing a live batting practice last week. He has been on the 10-day injured list with a lower right back strain since April 28 (retroactive to April 25). (MLB)
Fantasy Impact:
If Lodolo does well in the rehab start for the ACL Reds, he will graduate to pitching for Triple-A Louisville in Durham this week. The young hurler has been working his way back from the back strain relatively slowly, but surely the Reds are just being extra careful with their highly touted prospect. Lodolo was able to start three games to start his MLB career, collecting a 1-2 record with a 5.52 ERA and 1.57 WHIP with 19 strikeouts over 14.2 innings.
