Cardinals SP Packy Naughton lasted just 1 1/3 innings on the mound Wednesday, allowing four runs on five hits in the Cardinals' 11-3 loss to the Rays.

Naughton has failed to make it to the fourth inning in three consecutive starts on the mound for the Cardinals. The left-hander has struggled in a swingman role for St. Louis, carrying a 5.54 ERA and 1.38 ERA in eight appearances this season.
