Mets OF Starling Marte stated Wednesday that he is feeling better and does not expect to land on the IL due to left quad tightness. (Anthony DiComo on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
This would be a massive break for the Mets. With Pete Alonso considered day-to-day, having Marte out for an extended period of time would impact their offense. Marte is hitting .277, with seven home runs, 33 RBIs, and eight stolen bases in 2022.
