Cardinals RP Drew VerHagen was unable to keep the Rays in check Tuesday, allowing three runs on one hit while also walking one in 2/3 of an inning, picking up the loss in the Cardinals' 4-2 loss to the Rays.
Fantasy Impact:
VerHagen has allowed multiple runs in each of his last two relief appearances for the Cardinals, allowing five runs in two innings pitched in that span. The veteran right-hander carries a 1.53 WHIP and 4.96 ERA in 12 relief appearances this season.
