James Paxton could throw off mound next week

Red Sox starter James Paxton could finally throw off a mound as early as next week, according to Mass Live writer Christopher Smith. (Mass Live)
Fantasy Impact:
Paxton was able to throw from 120 feet over the weekend as he continues to rehab from Tommy John surgery in April of 2021. The big lefty had resumed bullpen sessions but hit a setback last month with elbow soreness. There is still not an official timetable for his return as of yet. But, at least he is trending in the right direction.
