Red Sox LHP James Paxton has advanced to throwing from 120 feet in his return from Tommy John surgery and elbow soreness according to MLB.com's Sonja Chen. (Sonja Chen, MLB.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Paxton threw up to 120 feet on Saturday and is feeling no ill effects afterwards. "Big Maple" is reportedly chomping at the bit to get back to the mound, however, the Red Sox are being understandably cautious with the injury prone lefty and will hold off for now. Paxton and the Red Sox are aiming for a post-All Star Break return.
