Jeimer Candelario could land on the IL

by Jesse Garcia | Reds Correspondent | Mon, Jun 6th 12:08pm EDT

Tigers 3B Jeimer Candelario injured his left shoulder diving after a line drive in the second inning of Sunday’s loss to the Yankees. Manager A.J. Hinch said a decision on if Candelario will be placed on the IL will come after a battery of tests and before the Tigers next game against Pittsburgh on Tuesday. (Chris McCosky on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Candelario has played 52 games this season, carrying a slash line of .181/.236/.319 with five home runs, 19 RBIs, and 20 runs scored. This would be his first IL stint of the season for the 28-year-old. Fantasy managers should be on the look out for updates from the Tigers on his status before Tuesday’s game.
