Austin Meadows expected to make return 'soon'

Austin Meadows texted Tigers manager A.J. Hinch Thursday morning saying that he is expected to return soon. (Evan Woodbery on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
"Getting back into baseball was a little funny for [Meadows] just because he had hardly done anything for a couple of weeks," Hinch said. "He said he felt great, symptom free. He said, 'See you soon.' That's a good sign." Meadows last played on May 15 when he started to feel symptoms of vertigo. He went on a rehab assignment with Triple-A Toledo on Wednesday and appears to be returning potentially next week.
