After dealing with discomfort in his left hand, Josh VanMeter was removed from Wednesday's 8-4 win over the Dodgers in the bottom of the sixth per Jason Mackey on Twitter. (Jason Mackey on Twitter)

The second baseman is currently considered day-to-day. VanMeter was 1-for-3 with a first inning RBI single before leaving Wednesday's contest.
