Luis Garcia officially recalled to big league roster

The Nationals have officially recalled infielder Luis Garcia and placed infielder Alcides Escobar on the 10-day IL with a hamstring injury. (Jesse Dougherty on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Garcia failed to make the big league roster this spring, but he has batted .314 with eight home runs and one stolen base through 42 games at Triple-A Rochester to start the season. He should serve as the team's primary shortstop with Escobar on the shelf, with the possibility of holding onto the job long-term if he can prove his bat is ready. The young infielder is eligible at 2B and SS in most formats and is worth a speculative add, especially in deeper leagues.
