Matt Swarmer pitched six innings, allowing only one earned run (four overall) on five hits and one walk while striking out six and receiving a no-decision in the Cubs' 7-6 loss to the Brewers on Monday afternoon.
Fantasy Impact:
The 28-year-old appeared in his first MLB game and pitched well on a windy Wrigley day against a good team. Chicago does not have a strong rotation and is looking for a replacement for Wade Miley, who went on the IL earlier today. Fantasy managers can keep an eye on Swarmer from now on, though his future role is entirely unknown.
