Oneil Cruz suffers 'minor ankle injury' on Sunday

Fantasy Impact:
The fact that the injury is reportedly minor is obviously good news, but anything that derails Cruz's seemingly imminent promotion is worrisome. After a dreadful start, Cruz has really picked it up of late, and now has six home runs and 10 steals on the year. This ankle injury may be just what Pittsburgh needs to justify keeping him down a few more weeks to pass the Super Two deadline, so fantasy managers need to prepare themselves to have a bit of patience, regardless of the further details of Cruz's injury.
