Detroit Tigers right-hander Elvin Rodriguez allowed four runs over five innings in a 5-4 loss to the Twins on Monday.

Rodriguez was called up to take Eduardo Rodriguez’s spot in the rotation. He struck out four and walked three in the outing, a no-decision. Rodriguez has now made two appearances for Detroit, allowing eight runs in 7 2/3 innings of work.
