Tim Anderson suspension overturned to a fine

Tim Anderson's one game suspension for his actions during a game between the White Sox and Guardians on April 20th has been rescinded upon appeal. (Chicago Sun Times)

Cameras at Progressive Field in Cleveland caught Anderson appearing to flip off a fan in the stands, which led to the initial suspension and undisclosed fine. As it turns out, Anderson will not miss a game for the suddenly hot White Sox. They have won six of their last seven games, getting back into the thick of the AL Central race.
