Shohei Ohtani is not in the starting lineup Monday afternoon against the White Sox according to the Orange County Register's Jeff Fletcher. (Jeff Fletcher on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Shohei Ohtani exited Sunday's game with a groin issue but vowed to be back in the lineup on Monday. The Angels are erring on the side of caution and are giving Ohtani the day off instead. He is active, however, and could pinch hit against Chicago. If the groin is the non-issue Ohtani made it out to be, he should be able to return as DH Tuesday night in Boston. At this time, Ohtani is still slated to pitch on Wednesday.
