Reiver Sanmartin gets destroyed by Padres on Tuesday

Reiver Sanmartin allowed nine runs on eight hits and a walk over three innings on Tuesday against the Padres. He struck out two and took the loss, falling to 0-3.
Fantasy Impact:
Sanmartin now has a 10.91 ERA and a 1.85 WHIP, with just 10 strikeouts in 15 2/3 innings. He's generally tough on lefties but doesn't have the pure stuff to consistently pitch in a rotation right now. Depending on when Luis Castillo returns, Sanmartin could be optioned to the minors or find himself in a bullpen role. Either way, he's not helping anyone's fantasy team at the moment, so managers certainly shouldn't start him in Colorado later this week.
