San Francisco Giants starting pitcher Alex Cobb is progressing nicely from his right adductor strain. He is set to throw off a mound Monday, according to The Athletic's Andrew Baggerly. (The Athletic)

Assuming his session off a mound on Monday goes well, he will likely throw off the mound once more before being re-evaluated. Cobb was placed on the 10-day IL on Tuesday night, but the expectation was that he would not miss much time. All signs point toward that being the case.
