Eloy Jimenez was placed on the 10-day IL on Sunday and is preliminarily expected to miss six-to-eight weeks with a right hamstring tear. (James Fegan on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The White Sox will provide a further update prior to Tuesday's game, but if the timetable is confirmed to be six-to-eight weeks, fantasy managers should consider themselves lucky based on the initial reports on Saturday. Jimenez has enough upside that managers should find a way to hold him despite his lengthy timetable, as he should provide at least a half-season's worth of production upon his return.
