Trevor Story (illness) unavailable Sunday night

by Andersen Pickard | Red Sox Correspondent | Sun, Apr 10th 6:01pm EDT

Red Sox second baseman Trevor Story is dealing with a non-COVID illness and won't be available for Sunday's series finale against the Yankees. Jonathan Araúz will start in his place, batting ninth and patrolling second base. (Pete Abraham on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Story signed with the Sox midway through Spring Training and reported to camp even later due to the birth of his child. He has gone 1-for-8 with a double through two games. Story was scheduled to receive some off-days early in the season due to his abbreviated stint in Spring Training, but today's illness-related absence is obviously unscripted. Despite his slow start, he remains one of the more intriguing second basemen from a fantasy baseball perspective.
