by Matthew Adam | Fri, Mar 25th 9:09pm EDT
St. Louis Cardinals right-hander Drew VerHagen allowed two runs over three innings of work in a 5-4 win over the Nationals in Grapefruit League action on Friday. VerHagen struck out one and was credited with the win in the outing.
Fantasy Impact:
VerHagen wasn't particularly sharp as he allowed two solo homers but he picked up the win in his second outing of the spring. VerHagen spent the past two seasons playing in Japan and is expected to serve as a long reliever and occasional starter for the Cardinals in 2022.
