Relief pitcher Miguel Diaz has signed a deal with the Detroit Tigers. If he makes the major league roster, he will earn $800,000. (Jon Heyman on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Diaz was fairly effective out of the bullpen for the Padres in 2021, posting a 1.19 WHIP, 3.64 ERA, and 46/16 K/BB ratio in 42 innings pitched. The relief pitcher should have no problem carving out a spot in the Tigers’ underwhelming bullpen going into the 2022 season.
