Fantasy Impact:
Bird has not played in an MLB game since 2019 but has 32 career home runs in 700 plate appearances. He spent last season with the Rockies triple-A organization, where he slashed .267/.362/.532 with 27 home runs. Bird still has immense power in his profile. Unfortunately, his career has not played out like many expected largely thanks to injuries. He was able to stay healthy last season with the Rockies, despite never earning a call-up. There is a slim chance that Bird makes a fantasy-relevant impact in 2022, but the potential is there if he earns a spot on the roster.
