Tim Beckham signs deal with Twins

The Twins hosted veteran infielder Tim Beckham for a workout and eventually signed him to a minor league deal. If the former No. 1 pick cracks the majors in 2022, he'd fetch $1 million. Presumably, the deal includes an invitation to Spring Training. (Darren Wolfson on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Beckham has six seasons and 472 games in the majors under his belt. During that time, he slashed .249/.302/.431. With that said, the 32-year-old hasn't reached the big leagues since 2019. This past year, he slashed .279/.330/.545 with 11 homers, 13 walks, and 44 strikeouts through 45 games with the White Sox' Triple-A affiliate.
