Chad Qualls pitched a perfect eighth inning, striking out one batter, as the Astros beat the Athletics 6-4.
Fantasy Impact:
Qualls has lowered his ERA to 2.93 on the season, while picking up his fifth hold. Qualls might not be Houston's closer, but he is trusted with regular eighth inning opportunities and has succeeded in that role. The veteran reliever's fantasy value will only become relevant in standard formats if he receives regular save chances, until then monitor the Astros bullpen situation.
