Tyler Clippard receives $500K buyout on mutual option

Diamondbacks relief pitcher Tyler Clippard is now a free agent after his $3.5 million mutual option was declined. Instead, he'll receive a $500,000 buyout. (MLBPA on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Clippard, 36, amassed a 3.20 ERA through 25.1 innings of work out of the bullpen in 2021. The 15-year MLB veteran should receive another major-league deal this offseason.
