John Gant leaves start with abdominal strain

Minnesota Twins right-hander John Gant lasted just 2/3 of an inning in a start against the Yankees on Monday before leaving with an abdominal strain. He issued one walk.
Fantasy Impact:
Gant threw just 12 pitches before coming down with the injury. The Twins have yet to update his status but a trip to the injured list appears to be likely. Gant has a 3.76 ERA over 36 appearances in 2021.
