Mariners' outfielder Kyle Lewis suffered a bone bruise in his right knee and has been shut down for the remainder of the 2021 season. (Ryan Divish on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
For a Mariners squad that is fighting for their playoff lives, Lewis's continued absence is certainly not good news. The same goes for those fantasy managers that would've liked to plug Lewis into their lineups in the midst of the fantasy playoffs. Lewis will finish the season slashing .246/.333/.392 with just five homers and 11 RBIs.
