Steven Duggar knocks an RBI triple on Sunday
by Jon Mathisen | Mon, Sep 6th 12:05am EDT
Outfielder Steven Duggar went 1-for-4 with a two-run triple and a strikeout as the Giants took out the Dodgers 6-4 on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact:
Duggar was back with the Giants on Sunday after getting recalled from Triple-A Sacramento. He was optioned back in early August in order to add some depth to the San Francisco bullpen. He delivered a big hit on Sunday, slicing a two-run triple off Walker Buehler in the bottom of the second inning to put the Giants up 3-1. The 27-year-old outfielder is now slashing .267/.339/.448 with seven home runs, 30 RBI, and six stolen bases over 221 at-bats. He should remain with the team for as long as Austin Slater (concussion) is on the IL.
