Kwang Hyun Kim records just five outs in loss to Brewers on Saturday
by Lucas Spence | Sat, Sep 4th 11:58pm EDT
Cardinals starter Kwang Hyun Kim failed to make it out of the second inning on Saturday afternoon, surrendering seven hits, four runs, and a walk in just 1 2/3 innings while falling to 6-7 on the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Kim served up a leadoff homer to Luis Urias in the first inning before allowing three more runs to score in the second inning. Kim has pitched a total of just 15 innings across his past five starts dating back to July. He'll take a 3.53 ERA and 1.26 WHIP into a daunting matchup against the Dodgers next Thursday. Kim should be left on the waiver wire heading into the fantasy playoffs.
