Minnesota Twins right-hander John Gant allowed two runs over five innings in a 3-1 loss to the Cubs on Tuesday. Gant struck out five in the loss.
Fantasy Impact:
Gant gave up a solo homer in the first inning and allowed another run to score in the second but he calmed down after that. The veteran now has a 4-9 record, 3.98 ERA, 1.47 WHIP, and 81 strikeouts over 97 1/3 innings of work split between the Twins and Cardinals.
