Jack Mayfield ended the day 2-for-3, highlighted by his solo home run in the sixth inning. He'd actually tally two RBIs on the day thanks to pop up to no-man's land which fell for a single.
Fantasy Impact:
Mayfield remains the number nine hitter for the Angels, even in the National League of play. It's an interesting tactic manager Joe Maddon has used for ages to get players more quality at-bats, and it seems to be working as of now for Mayfield.
