Andrew Romine went 2-for-5 versus Chicago Friday. He would score the first Cubs' run in the seventh and then hit a three-run shot off Craig Kimbrel in the eighth. It was his first homer since 2017.
Fantasy Impact:
Romine is an interesting case. He is 35 years old with limited success in the major leagues but the Cubs did trade away a lot of players. Perhaps he sees enough playing time to be worthwhile in deep NL-only leagues. If not, he will always have the memory from today.
