Marlins reliever Anthony Bass allowed two earned runs on three hits while striking out two over 2/3 of an inning to take the loss in Wednesday's matchup against the Mets.

Wednesday was Bass's seventh loss of the season and this second in his last two appearances. While once considered a favorite to close games in Miami, Bass has pitched to a 4.10 ERA through 59 appearances.
