Fantasy Impact:
This is crushing news for New York and its young pitcher, who ranks 10th among Mets prospects in the latest MLB Pipeline report. The 25-year-old has already dealt with Tommy John surgery in his career and will now add ulnar nerve transposition surgery to his medical report. The New Jersey native allowed six earned runs in 3.2 innings of MLB work this season. He also went 0-4 with a 4.10 ERA in Triple-A this year.
