Fantasy Impact:
Kansas City is suddenly the league's supplier of minor league infield depth as of late as they traded Alcides Escobar to the Nationals on Friday and Gutierrez to the Orioles on Saturday. The latter was designated for assignment on June 28th and was slashing .215/.254/.296 in the majors. He was also 11-for-36 through nine games at the Triple-A level. The 26-year-old has been assigned to the Orioles' Triple-A affiliate in Norfolk.
