Wade Davis: Placed on IL

The Royals have placed right-handed reliever Wade Davis on the 10-day injured list with a right forearm strain. The move is retroactive to Sunday, June 27th. (Kansas City Royals on Twitter)

Davis has struggled this season, going 0-2 with an 8.06 ERA, 1.64 WHIP, and .307 OBA through 25.2 innings of relief work. In a corresponding move, the Royals called up southpaw Richard Lovelady from Omaha.
