Abraham Almonte goes 2-for-3 Wednesday

by Steve Painter | Thu, Jun 17th 12:45am EDT

Abraham Almonte went 2-for-3 with two doubles, a walk, an RBI, and a run scored in Wednesday's game against the Red Sox.

Fantasy Impact:

Almonte is getting an extended run in the lineup with the Marcell Ozuna absence and he is batting fourth in the order. He has a very good eye at the plate plus he is taking advantage of this opportunity and playing well, with an OBP of .460. So, this creates an opportunity for fantasy managers. Batting fourth, he hits ahead of Austin Riley and Dansby Swanson, both of whom have proven they can hit and drive in runs. Almonte is playing his way into deep mixed league conversation, certainly in NL-only formats.
