Manny Machado goes 1-for-4 on Wednesday

Fantasy Impact:

Machado recorded two hard-hit ball events on Wednesday. Unfortunately, it has become the norm for Machado to smash multiple balls in a game, but only have one or no hits to show for it. Manny's exit velocity numbers, hard hit rate, strikeout rate, and walk rate are all well above average. One would have to think his fantasy production will turn around at some point. That being said, the larger the sample gets, the more concerning it becomes that he hasn't turned it around. Machado is still too talented and hits the ball too hard to leave on the bench.
