Dillon Thomas picks up first MLB hit Wednesday
by Ari Koslow | Thu, Jun 10th 2:20am EDT
Dillon Thomas went 1-for-5 with two RBIs, two runs and three strikeouts in the Mariners 9-6 extra-inning win Wednesday over Detroit.
Fantasy Impact:
After beginning his MLB debut going 0-for-4 with three strikeouts, Thomas got the opportunity to redeem himself in extra innings. After starting the 10th inning on second base, Thomas scored on a single hit by J.P. Crawford. He later stepped to the plate in a huge at-bat with the bases loaded and two outs, lining a single up the middle that scored Jake Fraley and Taylor Trammell for his first hit and RBIs of his MLB career. Thomas later scored from first base on a two-run double hit by Tom Murphy.
