Matt Shoemaker gets just one out in disastrous start

Minnesota Twins right-hander Matt Shoemaker was blitzed by the Royals in a 14-5 loss on Friday. Shoemaker allowed nine runs (eight earned) and got just one out in the loss.
Fantasy Impact:
Shoemaker was absolutely dismantled in the loss. The veteran right-hander is trending down after a decent start to the year and his spot in the starting rotation could be in jeopardy. Shoemaker now has a 2-7 record and a 7.28 ERA on the year.
