Riley Smith destroyed by the Nationals on Friday

RHP Riley Smith took the loss on Friday when he allowed eight runs on eight hits with a pair of walks over three innings as the D-Backs lost to the Nationals 17-2.
Fantasy Impact:
Smith never stood a chance in this one as the Nats jumped on him from the very beginning. Trea Turner led the game off with a home run and it was all downhill from there. Washington put up six runs on Smith in the first frame. He then allowed another home run to Kyle Schwarber and an RBI double to Victor Robles before his day was done. The poor outing elevated Smith's ERA to 6.33 to go along with a 1.69 WHIP. He gets the Dodgers in Los Angeles in his next start.
