Cardinals pitcher Daniel Ponce de Leon (shoulder) has been assigned to Triple-A Memphis to begin a rehab assignment. (Jim Hays on Twitter )
Fantasy Impact:
Ponce de Leon is dealing with shoulder inflammation and was placed on the 10-day injured list at the end of April. He will begin a minor league rehab assignment on Friday and could return from the IL soon. Ponce de Leon is used out of the Cardinals bullpen and owns 8.71 ERA and 1.84 WHIP across 10 1/3 innings in 2021.
