Trevor Cahill allows one run in no-decision Wednesday
by Connor Rooney | Wed, May 12th 5:03pm EDT
Trevor Cahill did not factor in the decision Wednesday against the Reds, allowing one run on three hits and no walks in 5.1 innings. He struck out one.
Fantasy Impact:
Cahill was pretty effective on Wednesday, only allowing a solo homer to Mike Moustakas in the second inning. He kept hitters off balance, but did not generate many whiffs. Overall, Cahill sports a 5.97 ERA, 1.41 WHIP, and and a 27:9 K:BB in 34.2 innings. He'll take the ball every fifth day for the Pirates, but isn't an intriguing fantasy option.
