Trevor Cahill allows three runs in loss Friday
by Connor Rooney | Fri, May 7th 8:04pm EDT
Trevor Cahill (1-4) took the loss Friday against the Cubs. He allowed three runs (two earned) on eight hits and one walk in five innings. He struck out two.
Fantasy Impact:
Cahill was outdueled by Zach Davies, who threw seven scoreless innings for the home club. This was really a stereotypical start for Cahill: a few runs allowed, scattering hits across five frames. In that sense, he's terribly uninteresting for fantasy, and shouldn't be on your radar. He owns a 6.75 ERA and 26:9 K:BB in 29.1 innings this season.
